B2B Saas Platoform

Virtual Relo is a B2B SaaS platform that streamlines employee relocation for companies, offering end-to-end virtual relocation management, compliance support, and employee onboarding solutions.

The Challenge

VirtualRelo’s platform had complex workflows and a dated UI, leading to user confusion, increased onboarding time, and frequent support requests. Adoption rates among client HR teams remained under 50%, and employee satisfaction with relocation processes was low.

The Solution

Redesigned the platform with intuitive dashboards, clearer task flows, and a modern design system aligned with global enterprise standards. Conducted end-to-end user research and usability testing to validate improvements for both HR administrators and relocating employees.

Design Process

Research & Discovery
Conducted stakeholder interviews with client HR teams and employees, analysed support tickets, and mapped end-to-end relocation workflows to identify pain points.

Information Architecture
Reorganised platform modules, dashboards, and task flows to align with user mental models, improving navigation and discoverability of critical actions.

Wireframing & Prototyping
Created low and mid-fidelity wireframes for dashboard layouts, task flows, and self-service features, tested iteratively with HR users and employees for feedback.

Visual Design & Testing
Developed a clean, enterprise-grade design system with accessible colour palettes and components, and conducted usability testing with 8 HR admins and 10 relocating employees per iteration.

Implementation & Launch
Worked closely with the engineering team to implement UI components, supported QA testing, and managed phased rollout with user training materials and adoption support.
